The 1st 48 Program is dedicated to providing care and support to fathers and families who are processing the unthinkable within 48 hours of the tragedy.

Provide grieving fathers with an avenue to be acknowledged, supported, and restored
Deploy responders to actively engage, support, and provide guidance to families in their time of grief
Create a safe haven of experienced responders to serve the community

Restore communal values by meeting struggling families’ basic needs who have experienced stress and trauma, overuse of technology, and absence of family structures

Our highly trained responders are available to actively engage with families in their time of grief, providing guidance and support to help them navigate the difficult journey ahead. Assure their safety, and rights are not violated, and all information is provided in a timely manner according to the law. Assisting with bereavement services and beyond. If this is a case of state sanctioned violence. 1st 48 will be a part of this journey until justice is served.
